Transylvania Tango Fest, Brasov, 17-19 July 2009

First of all, we would like to thank all our friends who were here to celebrate with us the second edition of our festival in Brasov - Transylvania Tango Fest!


Second of all, let's see how everything came out! :)

There was a good mixture of info with fun throughout the 3 days! Seminars held by Ozhan Araz & Serkan Gokcesu - for the first time in Romania, and Murat & Michelle Erdemsel - for the third time here were really full of information that most of us are going to work on for quite a while...

Those who were there probably smile at the pictures and we ask you: if you feel like sharing your memories, please do! :)

One of the most exciting parts of the Festival was Saturday evening: the Tanguero's Dinner and the Guerilla Milonga - the first Guerilla Milonga in Romania!! It was great! Tangueros and non-tangueros had a lot of fun :)

Then, there was the Grand Milonga with the most expected performances! It's moments/ minutes like these that make us realize how great it is to have the opportunity to learn from ones of the best!

Another event worth the effort and the admiration was the Romanian teachers' performace Friday evening! Here are a few images with special thanks to those who were willing to be part of this:

We also have to thank the Entrega Band - Alexandru Nuca and Horia Preda - who enjoyed us with great live tango music:

The Milongas on Friday and Sunday were really warm and cosy! We danced enjoying the music - live with Entrega, or not live - but very nicely handled by DJ Ramona on Friday and by DJ Murat on Saturday! :) Aside all the fatigue we had a really great time with everybody there and I'm sure we have a lot to practice after this weekend!

Opening night for Transylvania Tango Fest!!



You are welcome to share a glass of champaigne at 5 pm, to celebrate the opening of the second edition of the Festival in Brasov. Check the programe at www.tangobrasov.ro.

New!!! Saturday evening everybody is invited to the special Tanguero Dinner, at 7.45 pm, at the Chinese Restaurant 'Great Wall'. And after dinner, at 9 pm, we are going to dance and enjoy ourselves at the Guerilla Milonga from Piata Sfatului!

Milonga aniversara - Motango - Sibiu, 13 iunie 2009

Liceul de arta - Sibiu. Distractia incepe inca dinainte sa intram :)

Ne-a parut bine ca am dat curs invitatiei Motango - Monika si Detlef - de a sarbatori un an de tango la Sibiu! Atmosfera calda, primitoare si tortul delicios au contribuit din plin la dorinta de a dansa toata seara :)

Am ramas cu amintiri frumoase si dorinta de a ne revedea - la Sibiu sau la Brasov. Pana la urmatoarea intalnire va invitam cu drag la Transylvania Tango Fest!
