we appreciate very much the interest that you have shown in this year's Transylvania Tango Fest!

Therefore, we have a SURPRISE for you all - a new location for TTF 2012:

Bran Inn (http://www.hanulbran.ro)

... 2 minutes away from Dracula's Castle!!

All the advantages of Bran Inn:

• lower prices

- single room = 90 lei (~21 euro)/ person
- double room = 55 lei (~12 euro)/ person
- apartment = 160 lei (~36 euro) - can be shared by 3 or 4 persons, because it has 2 bedrooms

Tango Body Awareness - Romania Tour, March 1st - April 1st, 2012

Dragii nostri iubitori de frumos, arta, dans...

noi, Studio "Tango Nada Mas" Brasov, ne-am propus un 2012 cu cat mai multe momente frumoase impartasite alaturi de voi - cei care traiti si iubiti arta!

Asadar, avem pentru voi toti o surpriza pentru primavara 2012, un proiect elaborat si plin de descoperiri: Tango Body Awareness.

Invitatii nostri pentru acest eveniment sunt Marcela Trape si Mario Ferraro din Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Perioada de desfasurare: 01 martie - 01 aprilie 2012.

Marcela&Mario au mai vizitat Romania (Bucurestiul si Brasovul) in februarie 2012 si au fost foarte apreciati, in mod special pentru abordarea dansului pornind de la mecanica propriului corp, posibilitatile si limitarile lui... cu alte cuvinte, dansul pornind din interior si nu din exterior.

Marcela, pentru care anul acesta se implinesc 22 de ani de cand preda dansul in forme diferite (balet, dans contemporan, tango), este creatoarea metodei de organizare corporala "Body Awareness". Metoda vine ca o incununare a tuturor cursurilor cu oameni faimosi ai dansului: Alfredo Gurguel (Balet & Biomecanica), Monica Fraccia (Dans Contemporan), Cristina Branils (Dans Moderna), Susana Sperling (Dans Contemporan - "Release system"), Cristina Barnils (Dans Modern), Daniel Lepkof (Contact Improvisation), Alejandro Cervera (Ritmica & Compozitie), Trish Bauman (Coregrafie & Body-Mind Centering, Introducere in fundamentele metodei Bartenieff), Mark Haim (Tehnica in dansul contemporan), Adriana Barenstein (Dans & Teatru) etc.

Mario este dansator, profesor si coregraf de tango argentinian. Are multi ani de experienta si a invatat tango alaturi de profesori ca: Gustavo Naveira, Carlos Borquez (Tango y Teatro), Adrian Veredice y Alejandra Hobert, Facundo y Kely, Chicho y Eugenia, Sergio Notario y Alejandra Arrue etc. Mario a sustinut workshops de tango atat in Buenos Aires, cat si in Europa la festivaluri de mare amploare, dintre care amintim: Tango Alchemie 2009 in Praga, Tango Zurich, Tango in Berlin, Franta, Italia, Bulgaria, Festival Cambalache - Tango Dancer Teacher.

Mario&Marcela danseaza impreuna din 2007, combinand ingenios muzicalitatea si tehnica de tango stapanite de Mario, cu organizarea corporala propusa prin Body Awareness de Marcela. 

Evenimentul este organizat in colaborare cu 2 scoli de tango din tara: Tango Feliz - Iasi, Tango Timisoara.

Astfel, cu sprijinul co-organizatorilor: Petru Mirel Grajdeanu (Iasi) si Maria Tirtea (Timisoara) proiectul se va desfasura in 3 orase din tara:

• 01-04 martie - Iasi
• 05-25 martie - Brasov
• 29 martie-01 aprilie - Timisoara

'Milonga de Amigos' by Studio Tango Nada Mas - 29 decembrie 2011

Dragii nostri prieteni,

Ne-am gandit ca poate aveti chef de o ‘nebunie’ acum la final de an, asa ca noi, Studio “Tango Nada Mas” v-am pregatit terenul si ocazia:

‘Milonga de Amigos’ – joi 29 decembrie 2011 la Brasov.

Asadar, inainte de a merge fiecare spre sarbatorirea noului an – magicul 2012, va asteptam sa dati cu talpa in ritm de tango pe podea de lemn, sa beti un vin fiert in cel mai frumos oras de iarna – Brasovul si sa imbratisati prieteni cu care nu v-ati vazut de-o vreme buna:)

Petrecerea incepe la ora 22.30 si va tine pana hat, departe, dupa ora 03.00!

O sa va incante ochii tablourile frumoase ale tanguerosului nostru artist Iulian Mita.

O sa va ispiteasca o tombola la care o norocoasa doamna va primi un saculet de pantofi by La Sastresa Botique, designer Nana Cazan (http://lasastresa.blogspot.com/p/tango-boutique.html), iar un norocos domn va primi o sticla de vin argentinian Trapiche!

Totodata, castigatorii vor beneficia de cate un workshop in cadrul evenimentului surpriza – Tango Body Discovery, organizat de STNM Brasov in primavara 2012!

Transylvania Tango Fest 2011 - TanGo with Feeling!

We are getting closer by the day: July 28th-31st!

If last year I was saying that 'three is a charm', this fourth edition is designed to be the hit of tango festivals so far, made by Studio Tango 'Nada Mas'.


We welcome you with an assisted Practica by the one couple that had as from 'hello' last year, too: Ronen&Maya :). After that...
